Feature in ICF Builder magazine. We were honored to have our Energy Star ICF home (see below) featured in the April/May 2008 issue of ICF Builder magazine. Click on the title to read the article, "Zero Energy Homes".
Wind power. We are thrilled to announce that as of January 2007 we partnered with EnergyWise Wind Generators to add a wind turbine to our product line. Although the turbine is not yet in production, we are planning to offer it January 2009. We are excited about the benefits that this will allow us to offer our clients.
Feature in a national publication. We were very pleased to have our Energy Star ICF home (see below) featured in the September/October 2006 issue of the Concrete Homes newsletter. In fact, the owners of this home had received a check from Central Hudson (their utility company) for the excess electricity that this home generated. 93.3 Energy Star/NYSERDA rating! A one story (see above) with a walkout, 6300 SF, zero energy home built with 11" iForm overlooking the Hudson River in central Hyde Park. This home utilized ICFs, geothermal heating and cooling, photovoltaic solar, sun tunnels, etc. This rating is reportedly the highest in the state. And on top of being super energy efficient it is also a very beautiful home. Check it out in the GALLERY.
Continuing Ed Training For Architects & Engineers: If you are interested in attending a CE training session in the future please let us know. We have several options. We will be running the 8 credit course this coming fall. We also have a 1 credit or a 2 credit course available for those that are interested. These credits are good for the AIA or for NY state.
